National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA ) embarked on an indefinite strike.

Reports from channels tv just indicated that the workers of the National Emergency Management Agency  (NEMA) has embarked on an indefinite strike action starting Thursday the 19th of October. 
The directive to proceed on the strike was issued in Abuja by the Trades Union Congress (TUC) and the Association of Senior Civil Servants of, the union stated that the decision followed the expiration of the agreement signed with the unions by the Minister of Labour and Employment. 
Workers at the NEMA Headquarters have as well as operational and Zonal offices has been directed to comply with the directives, saying that further information will be communicated.
